With Fall Break just around the corner, you might be wondering what to do with your kids while they are off school. Planning activities your whole family can enjoy will help keep everyone happy and provide great family memories. Local libraries, community centers, and apple orchards all have fun activities for you to enjoy. If you can't take off work, your kids can still enjoy special activities through day camps. Kelsay Farms
Kelsay Farms will be extending their hours during Fall Break, so you can enjoy the fun during the week too! Families can participate in many activities including a corn maze, go on a hayride, pick a pumpkin, and ride the Moo Choo Express. There is even a flashlight maze for the afterdark crowd. Tickets are $8 and includes on the activities on the farm. Pumpkins and snacks cost extra.

The Apple Works
The Apple Works will be open throughout the break as well. You can pick your own apples and pumpkins, go through a corn maze, listen to live music, or play on the new children's obstacle course-like playground. Admission is free, but there is additional cost for some items. Food trucks will be on-site.

Johnson County Public Library
All the Johnson County Library branches have regularly scheduled activities, but some have stepped it up even further to offer more Fall themed activities for those on break. Special activities including pumpkin painting, Halloween Story Walks, Halloween movie night, a kids cooking class, and a Lego Building Bonanza. Click here for the library's calendar of events.

Baxter YMCA
If you can't take off work for Fall Break, the YMCA offers a day camp where your kids can swim, play games, and meet new friends. You can take advantage of the camp on a daily basis, or pay for the whole week. The price for Y members is $36 a day or $134 a week. If you aren't a Y member, you can still join the fun for $41 a day or $169 a week.

Greenwood Community Center
The Community Center is also planning a Fall Break day camp. This camp takes the kids on field trips to go skating, bowling, or to Rascal's Fun Zone. The cost for community center members is $28 per day, and the cost for non-members is $32 a day.

Zoo Boo
The Indianapolis Zoo is offering it's annual Zoo Boo. There will be special activities throughout the event, and they are open later for spooky night time fun.

Children's Museum Haunted House
This year, the Children's Museum haunted house is pirate themed. Help Captain Crossbones find the haunted treasure. There are special less scary, more light viewing times available if needed. This event is not included in general admission price for the Children's Museum. Separate tickets must be purchased.
